Hi, my dear friend,

I’m Barb! A designer, crafter, and artist and I believe creativity is something worth reclaiming.

I live in sunny Mesa, Arizona, where I’ve built a beautiful life with my husband, Gary. We’ve raised three amazing kids, and I’m now blessed to have eight incredible grandkids. For over 26 years, I worked in the data analysis and operations industry, but art and creativity have always lived quietly in my heart waiting for the right time to bloom again.

About seven years ago, I finally gave myself permission to dive back into the creative world. I began exploring new art forms, tools, and mediums, and it quickly became a turning point in my life. With an empty nest, I saw this chapter as a chance to return to what I’ve always loved most: crafting, designing, and creating. It wasn’t just a return to my roots; it was a leap forward. I began blending my technical background with my passion for art and design, pushing myself into exciting new territory.

Not long after, I experienced a profound personal loss; my mother passed away. That moment brought deep clarity. I realized just how short life truly is and how important it is to honor the passions that make us feel alive. I didn’t want to wait anymore. I wanted to share my work with the world and help others, especially women like me, reconnect with their creativity after years of putting others first.

That realization led me to the Design Suite program, where I learned the formal foundations behind the creative work I’d always loved. It felt like coming home. I soaked up every lesson and felt completely re-energized. Fueled by that momentum, I made a bold decision: to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Design.

Honestly, I thought I was crazy for going back to school at this stage of my life, but it’s turned out to be one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve ever made.

Today, I’m building a creative business that brings my designs to life through digital shops, art collections, and meaningful resources for fellow makers. And I’m on a mission to help other women reclaim their creativity and explore new possibilities on their terms.

I’m not here to teach perfection. I’m here to cheer you on, spark ideas, and remind you that it’s okay to create just because it brings you joy.

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet. I hope you’ll stay a while, get inspired, and maybe even make something wonderful.

Let’s reclaim your creativity together. 💜
